Default North East River tomorrow

I'm going down to the N.E. River tomorrow fishing off my buddies boat, was wondering if anyone knows if stripers are running there yet. We're kinda clueless when it comes to them-we're just largemouth fishing and wondering if there's a possibility of hooking into a striper. Wish I could say where we're putting out of but I'm not familiar with the area.

This time of the year it's always a possibility to catch a striper in the river.

There has been stripers on bait in many of the coves along the northeast. Pay attention if there are birds coming down on the water. . 1/2 ratltraps or bass assassins on 3/8 oz heads should do the trick.
