Have you taken them to Laurel Acres on Church Rd? Saw a guy pull in a 3lb bass this afternoon, i weighed it for him. Great place for the kids, if they get bored fishing theres the playground!

Nice carp. Did the lil' man catch it? If you see a blue Nissan Quest with a Lamiglas and Bassbarn sticker, that's me.

believe it or not its a BIG albino catfish. unsure if its a white or channel cat. the state stocks them in there. It was released. yes my son, Aidan, caught it. it was a hoot to watch. we had walked over to the soda/snack machines and my father was there to watch the rods. sure enough the rod almost went for a swim. he fought for a few minutes when i look over.tell my son..."pappys got one!" ..my son took off like a bat outta hell and fought it in the end. it took a 1/2" piece of earthworm on a size 10 hook meant for a sunny.
rod used was a 5' ultralight and 4lb test line. fish was over 24" in length.

That catfish is fantastic, it looks like we are in the same boat as far as kids go, I also have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I live in walking distance of laural acres park and I have never seen a cat that big in there, fantastic. I actually just got a window from my wife to go fishing so I'm leaving in a few.

I think a caravan for fishing LBI is also a great idea, we can discuss things like why Cherry Hill West is better than Cherry Hill East and why the 73 construction has nothing to do with Olga's Dinner's decline, it was because of their shitty food.

And the prices i stopped in there one day to kill some time for a tax man appointment and it cost me 3.25 for a cup of coffee.
