Headed out today with Mick "HogWild" today looking for some payback on those striped devils! Got half way to the boat when Capt. BoneHead "ME" remembers the clams in the back yard ! That put a damper in the plan for the day so down to the rips we head. First drift in prissy Mickey nails one of those pretty striped wonders. After a quick check on lenght, couldn't stretch him any bigger, back he went. Then nothing but the muddy milkshake and cold water. Decided to head across the rips towards the 8's noted some bird play near sommer, headed out marked tons of bait with some big marks but no takers . Wiped out the specks and looked for some action, spotted a fleet of 13 boats down in the deep, Warp speed to the deep ! Noted some bend rods and some net dipping going on . Wish I could say we hammered them but not today, I boated a fat 31" and Mickey had the smartest eels I ever seen, They kept turning in the bass's mouths and had the hook sink back into them, Hard to get a hook set thru an eel twice! At least we got one for the box. Saw a few fish caught today, Water temp around 44/45 on the flood, sea's were Flat,Flat,Flat! Mickey If I can shake this bug that has me, JR will be ready ! Thanks again for the excellent day!

PS: Thanks to ever it was that fixed the bowline on the fatboat!

Wew!Man talk about HARDCORE this guy is the definition We didn't prove it by the weather or sea conditions, cause it was beautiful. But even I think Pat woulda' been better off in bed with a vaporizer or something.I'm glad he decided to go fishin instead.I just wish Ida' hooked those bastids a little better Thanks again Pat.
