This weekend was one of the best I had in a while. It started with back to back Limit Tog trips on the Stain with Two great groups of guys,we had Tog to 12.5lbs. Stain had to leave Sat night to do a 24hr.shift in the Bandaid box so I went to the Rips with my buddy Jeff for a little bucktailing,we had a great time catching 10 fish to 32inches,I used a teaser rig and had 4 of my 7 fish on the teaser It was sure nice for Jan.with temps in the 60`s,no wind and clean water. The best part was the Rips were lacking the normal swarm of Arseholes there was only a handfull of boats including Chunking,Margeritaville,Aimless,The Ugly Mug,and The Stalker who must have kept dropping things overboard because everytime we saw them the net was over the side Thanks to Krazy K for letting us steal his Rabolo What a great way to kick off 2004 and to top it off I made it to my 1000th Post without getting kicked off, life is good

Hey Scott, congrats on the 1000th post, its probably going to go higher soon with the long cold winter coming.

It sure was a perfect couple days, it felt like the spring, with similar fishing and weather conditions.

Capt.= It was a great day indeed! No wind, sunny skies, 60 degrees in January, and fish biting makes me a believer in the fish gods.Had fun catching stripers on eels and bucktails. Ended the day with 15 ,6 for the box. Dennis the Margaritaville P. S. I would like to know if it's legal to come in the back door- C. M. Ferry- with stripers after Jan. 1 ?

Den,I don`t see why you can`t come in the back door, afterall you have to go through the back water to get to the dock and that is closed also. You should go Toggin` with us next weekend.

Hey Scott! Saturday was a beautiful afternoon. We managed to get a few hours in, and had good fishing on the flood. You couldn't beat the warm temperatures, nice fish, and FLAT seas!
