Unfortunately the "Full" 2009 tournament will be postponed
due to the current economic times and the lack of
sponsorship available. However, we will be running a scaled
down "Calcutta Only" version this year which I hope you can
participate in...Economic Buster If You Will! This is a
"Back to Our Roots" one day fishing tournament with no bells
and whistles....but there will be no lack of camaraderie and
BEER! We will pay out 90% of the Calcutta and donate the
remaining 10%. No matter if the the economy is up or down,
we are still going to be here to "Fish for a Cure". Please

The New Dates are September 18th and 19th
Due to the bad weather from the Tropical storm and the
overwhelming demand from Topaz Owners we have set a new date for the
Topaz Shoot-Out… The 2009 fishing season has had some fabulous tuna
fishing and will only get better in September. We've all heard the
great reports of big eyes tuna, marlin, mahi mahi, and Wahoo being
caught from the Hudson to East Atlantis and the Dump. Now is your
opportunity to make it happen… Most boats have already re-booked
their slip at the Montauk Marine Basin (631-668-5900) The entry fee
is $500 and we will have multiple Calcutta’s... The New date is
(Capt. Meeting) Thursday September 17th .. Fish Friday &
Saturday September 18th & 19th… Awards party and Dinner (Surf &
Turf ) following weigh-in.. This is going to be a “FUN” Tournament
with all kinds of Great Awards, and Prizes…We have collected
thousands of dollars in great gifts to be given away at the Captains
Meeting..Tackle shops and manufactures like Black Barts,
Altenkirch’s Custom rods, Open Sea Electronics, and many others have
made some incredible donations.. We will be fishing for Tuna, Marlin
(release) Mako, and Sword fish.. I look forward to seeing all of you
