Wow-that's a lot of snake heads quick. Good job catchin' and legally killing.
Still would like to see some use for them-sell,eat. bait, fertilizer etc. Guess feeding the crows and foxes counts for such.
Definitely give Fish & Game a heads up. I bumped into a guy last year - they went out last year to try and catch snakeheads in most if not all of the fish-able bodies of water. Their goal was to figure out where they are and aren't.
fish and game knows all about this spot.
i sent one of our game wardens a few pictures last year.
there is a local kid that caught around 60 there last year.
i will be in there when the carp start spawning, arrows flying. hope to get a snakehead also.
Definitely an interesting fish. How do they fight? From what I heard when they spawn if you remove the parents, their fry become food for other fish.
Didn't know they were that prevalent in South Jersey waters.
I know joshen i usually kill them with a golf club and i did put one on the tracks and a train ran it over i got a video ill upload it later tonight
