I had a Minn Kota on my first boat and the only real option was a deep cycle. Standard batteries didn't cut it.

I used 2 group 29 deep cycle marine batteries. They were the biggest that would fit where I wanted to put them. I can get 2 full trips in without worrying about having to charge them. 4 seasons in and still going strong.
If you have to install sideways, or they're going to be bouncing around, then you have to go with AGM.

    AGM deep cycle for TM.
    Group 31

Stop in this store in Springfield on Baltimore Pike, they carry USA Made Duracell batteries, made by Deka.

Tell them you are with Chester County Bass Masters for better pricing.
