    Default Palatine Lake - 4/17/2019

Finally got back out! 5 month old and 3 yr old makes fishing difficult. Took off for my b-day yesterday.

Went out with my friend on Palatine Lake with the goal to get some south jersey slams. He was successful with getting it while i only landed 4 species and couldn't land the elusive bluegill ha.
Conditions were pretty good. little more wind then we hoped for, seemingly blowing every possible way on the lake. Mainly Cloudy. John boat had a slow and steady leak, so we were wet by the end of the trip but it was worth it.
I primarily used Bass Proshop "Crack Craw" (i think thats what theyre called) lizard like soft plastics with a small bullet weight, green pumpkin color. Also threw a few shallow crank baits, and small keitechs to get the perch. My friend threw zoom lizards, rattles, and small bluegill crank baits to get perch and bluegill.

overall great time.. lotta fish and very decent bass. his biggest was 3.13lbs mine were all weighing 2.5 to little over 3lbs.
