    Default Susky Flats:

I'm going tomorrow 4/13, yeah yeah I know. Anybody going or been?
I'm hearing good things on quantity but not so much on size. Maybe they haven't made the trip yet.

I have a friend that lives down the bay and he told me that because of the warm weather we had that the cows will not make it to the flats. They spawned before they made it up here .Anybody else hear anything about that?

Haven't been Ken. May squeeze in a trip or two before leaving for Fl. I'll place a call to a friend that I''m certain has been down there 3 or 4 times by now.

They've been fishing in the river, 3 fish over 30 pounds and a half dozen 28-32 inchers. Bait guys primarily, caught one on a plug. Fishing at night.

Reports from Tidalfish and from friends who have fished there, say the fishing although intermittent, has been the best in years. The west and northwest winds have been causing occasional muddy conditions. A mix of schoolie sized fish and 30" plus fish are being caught. No very large cows have been reported.

Went last thursday. Only a few PM hours on the water.. Found them a hour before sunset. handfull of smallones and one 27" . also some he-man white perch. All on 6" BKDs (had the flyrod but caught on spinning rod).

Some boats are having 100 fish days. mostley small and on lures and flies. Water temps are 58-61 degrees.

    Some nice LM bass too..

If you go make sure there is no LM bass tournaments as the parking lots will up and the ramp gets crowded..
