Nice fly! Great shape... Is that bucktail? Is it wet? If u double click on the pic it should give you choices on size.

Thanks yup it's all bucktail and wet with CCG for the head.
Still practicing with the pics hopefully I will get them a bit clearer.

I am likening the recent surge in posting on the FF forum and the season just sstarted hopefully these fly pics will be replaced with fish pics.

other than you Ray you always post fish pics.

You're close Bob. It is upside down. Wing on opposite side next time. That'll give you room to glue on plastic eyes. Also, shorten up your olive bucktail. About half as long as you have it now. It will be far less likely to foul and it'll allow the Ostrich to do what it does best......slink and swirl and undulate. As your fly is now, they might get inter-twined with each other, if ya know what I mean. Don't forget to cut a notch in the Tri-Lobal along the hook shank for the olive wing, so it can lay down naturaly. All your quantities look good though, don't use any less Ostrich. Remember, when it's wet it really reduces in mass. Keep at it, I wanna see the new and improved.
