Got out for about an hour and a half around low tide this evening and had zero action. Wind kind of turned on as I was out there and it got real cold real fast.

I still think after this week the fishing starts to build consistency as the sunny days and temps in the 50s will slowly warm our waters up. As much as I keep telling myself to stay away until April - I just can’t. My next attempt will probably be later this week.

I with ya Rob! Hard to stay away even though we both know the "one" is far from being in the river. Rats and Cats until mid April. Last year I did not land any decent fish until May! I'm gona keep my $$$ and hold off my donations to the local bait shop until the river warms considerably. I think I will focus on the honey do list for now. Good luck and keep the updates coming!

Diddo with Togfather unless we get a perfect weather day...it would be impossible to keep the fishing rods indoors at that point.

Took an AM stroll down by a van near the river today. Not many guys around. I'm still not fishing, but I hope soon. Casting hurts, lol.

But there were 4 bass in the 20 inch area caught.

Heading down this afternoon for some exercise and to walk the bank. Looks like a 10AM High tide at Wanamaker Bridge, Darby Creek Friday through the weekend. Plan to fish the outgoing till 4:30 or 5:00. Hope the mud flats act like a gas station (warmer water equal energy for fish) for the fish moving up river

No, I had heart surgery bypass. Cracked my chest open. It's been a year and my torso cramps up and still hurts, lol.

River water temp question - what river temp do you look for to signal the run is in full swing? DFOB has it spiking up to 50+ on the outgoing. I was thinking north of 55 was good to me in years gone by????

Gona try Friday after work from NJ side near DMB
