That is a great big eye picture. Probably the funniest one I have ever seen!

Head cut + spine mono AKA ikejime

Excellent job as always Dave, Greg, Ryan, Ryan and Jim. You guys all put in the effort ten fold this offseason and every trip leading up to this and it was only a matter of time before the first eyeball graced the deck of Ledge. First of many I'm sure!

Paul, you probably made the right call. Sounded like inshore was pretty bad in the afternoon on Friday as a few boats arrived late and a bit sore. Fishweather was all green, so we knew it wasn't going to be glassy. Had 10-12 East all night, but was pretty nice on the drift. Just a bit fast for tiles. Very sporty for the last 40 miles home Saturday and a massive storm cell that fortunately drifted northeast and broke up when it hit the water.

    Fantastic trip! WTFG!!!

Atta Boy on the Big Eye prep, you ensured the BEST quality meat by performing that variation on the traditional Japanese IKI JIMI procedure.

Check out this info about it's benefits here:

IKI JIMI - it's not just for Big Eye btw!

Can't really say Rich. But it did save my deck. Couple flips of that fish on the deck and I was worried about needing glass work. It did stop the shakes immediately.
