    Default Viking Key West Challange

Fishing the Viking Key West April 6th thru the weekend. My biggest Challenge is going to be staying out of the Bars.
Should be a fun time, but admittedly, were probably a little out of our league as my 55 is likely more of a tender and party barge compared to the rest of the fleet made up mostly of pro boats. if we cant beat them on the rod, we'll do our best to show our team is having the best of times.

When you're done in Key West you can shoot over to Chub Cay and meet us.

That boat may be trouble for me. The Mrs likes the extra stateroom and the sea keeper. UGH. We have nine going on this trip as it is let alone get another couple bunks.

Pub crawl was amazing on Tuesday night. Fished 3 hours Wednesday caught 2 sails, saw 2 more. Wednesday nights tournament captains meeting was amazing with loads of great food and people from companies sponsoring the event. Yesterday during the tournament, we only saw one sail in the afternoon and never got a bait close enough. We were next to the Man-O-War who got 7 for a little while, and saw that while kite fishing, he was pulling several strip teasers, so I suppose that is part of the equation that I have to put into our routine. We may have to pack today as the weather is suppose to turn NE 20 knots tonight. That would make for a miserable ride back to Palm Beach on Sunday, so we've had a great time, but.........

As the motto goes, build a better boat every day. Saw the Gallatti 66 on the troll yesterday. Very impressive as well. All these boats here are amazing. Boat Porn on Steroids.
