10" Furuno CRT radar display for sale. this is the model RDP-118. this is the display head that will work with the model 1832, 1932 or 1942 radars. additionally, the unit can be configured as a remote display/slave unit (Furuno model FMD1832) for a number of other radars: Models 1831/1931/1941 & MK2 Series, 1832/1932/1942 & MK2 Series, FR1400 series, FR1500MK2 series, FR7041/7061/7111, FR8051/8111/8251, FR8000D Series, FR2100 series, FR2105 Series, FR/FAR2805 series, FCR1400MK3 series. for complete information about what this unit will do, go to the furuno website at furunousa.com, click on radars, 10" - 15" radars and select the FMD1832. range on this unit will go up to 64 nm.

(image shown is not of actual unit but shows sample display)

this unit itself came off of a large sportfisher out of a flush mount installation. as such, all i have to go with the unit is a power cable. mounting brackets can be easily obtained. an operator's manual can be downloaded from the furuno website. i have tested the unit on my boat and it works fine. display and keypad are in perfect condition, corners of the case have a few wear marks, presumably from going in and out of the flush mounting on the old installation.

MSRP is $1,995, retail is around $1,100. make offer.

absolutely. you would need a dome and a cable. the 10m cable is furuno part #000-138-972 with msrp of $150. the dome is furuno part #RSB0071-057. the msrp on the dome is $1,975, so street price is something less than that...probably around $1,200 but i'm just guessing.

you could actually choose which antenna you wanted. you could get the 4kw 36 mile dome, the 4kw 48 mile 3.5' open array, or the 6kw 64 mile 4' open array. this would essentially give you a complete 1832, 1932 or 1942 radar unit. these antennas are also the same ones used on the navnet units, also.

all totaled, you could buy this display, a radome, cable and mounting brackets and have a 4 kw 36 mile radar w/10" display with NEW antenna for $1,600 - $1,700.

john,

if you've got any questions, shoot me an e-mail or give me a call...i can give you all the info about what you can do with the display unit. for anyone looking to go to a commercial grade radar unit with the big 10" screen, this is a really good deal.

Adam,

Send me an e-mail at [email protected] if everything checks out I'll be interested to take it off of your hands. Also include a number how I can get a hold of you. If Stain doesn't take it I will. But I would let Stain have First shot at it.

Hey guys,

I have a Older Raytheon Unit On the Little Debbie and I will be letting it go pretty cheap, about 300.00
It is a 24 mile radome, 8" screen, black and green screen, Worked fine, but I am re-doing aaaaaaaallallllllllaaalll the electronics on the boat,
It served me well, picking up the flags and balls that sit on the edges of the canyons, and such. If anyone is intrested just shoot me an E-mail.

Thanks Phil

John,

Just wanted to let you know it wasn't me, I told Adam that if the other guy falls through to let us know. But I said that you had first crack at it other wise I'll take it.

Phil I agree with John The only reason that I made an offer on the unit, Was to have a back up since I have the same unit on my boat now.
