Well I waited a week for the decals, they came yesterday and shes done

She is a 1958 13ft Boston Whaler I picked up from another barner who didnt have the time to restore her.

Took 5 days of sanding, a few days of glassing a few spots, and 2 days to paint but she looks as good now as she did in 58. I striped down all the paint from the bottom up and all of the inside.

Bottom got Interlux Interprotect (Barrier coat) and Micron CSC . Topside, with a little help from cardinal joe on the color (thanks again Joe ) got Interlux Topcoat as well as the sides.

This is what she looked like when I first picked her up

5 days of sanding...

With the bottom done...

Looks great Phil. I’ll be doing the same thing to the skiff I picked up from Josh

Phil,

You made it look incredible!! Way to go. I knew you would make it look like an original 58 when you picked it up.

Phil -Great job. I used that boat for 20 years for everything from duck hunting to fishing in Canada. It had been sitting for the last 10 years before I decided to get rid of it. If I had known it could like that again I would have had second thoughts. Beautiful work.
