Decided to fish today for a few hours, and boy was it chilly out. Only one small pickeral to show for it, had a couple nice largemouth follow up my jerk bait as well. Didn't want to touch it though, just curious. Felt good to get out on lake fred and do some more practicing before spring gets here.

Yea, its killing me as well, stripers open tomorrow but with this winter, we will not be putting the little boat in until mid march at the earliest.

Nice outing! I personally took the skunk today..but that's ok..it was good getting on the water.

It was nice having open water as well DP, didn't mean it was warm water, but it was nice not having ice stuck in the guides...

Haha, must be nice to fish during the week and not have class! Amazing what a few degrees does too.
