Trophy 2103 w/ 125hp Force and Escort trailer, all 1988.

Needs mechanical work: steering is frozen and trim pump or trim solenoid need replacing. I'm shopping for a different hull type and don't want to invest any more cash. It should be less than $1k to get her in good or better mechanical condition. Will take $2000 for the whole rig, so you can get a good bay/inshore boat with lots of freeboard that's a proven fish catcher for $3k. Hull is in good condition, decks and transom are solid. Boat has been trailered since 1997. Nevermind the reputation, engine runs like a top and has never left me stranded.

Original DF + an aux. Lowrance X75 FF...VHF...Dual batteries w/ switch...newer bilge pump and starter >> Trailer is in good condition...newer axle, leaf springs, hubs & coupler...no brakes...tows easy

Got your email, but in case you didn't get the reply, boat is in West Chester, PA, about 30 mi. West of Philly. Easy access to major highways (not out in the boonies).

EDIT - forgot to mention that I have a bimini-top for it. Frame is good. Canvas may have some holes.

Sorry, BR. I'm actually looking for a certain layout: forward cuddy/fish, like the Wellcraft V20/21, Formula F233F, etc. I need a small cuddy to hold a porta-potti as I have three daughters under 5. Cash is tight, thanks to those same daughters, so I can't trade up. C'mon, you can sit on $2k until you sell the other boat, right?

I might move on a boat I've been eyeing up sooner than expected. The Admiral would be a little ticked if I still had two boats in the driveway. I wear the pants, pay all the bills, and don't 'always' listen to her, but I would like to try to move the Trophy out. New price is $1750 if you take it in the next two weeks. If not, price goes back up in light of the clean-up/refurb work I'll be doing in the meantime.

If you're not so hot on this rig, but like working on boats, I have no doubt you can clean her up, do the mechanical fixes and either sell her for a profit or get more than your cash outlay's worth by trading it in to a dealer.

Sunday is better for me.

I think the steering arm is frozen in the pivot tube (it's supposed to slide back and forth). Before I knew better, I yanked hard over on the steering wheel several times to try and get it free. This damages the cable by stretching it. A good no-feedback, cable-steering kit that includes everything is under $200 and can be done with a minimum of mechanical skills. The catch is that 'usually' you have to remove the motor.
Beam is 8'2" and centerline from stern to the bow nose is around 20'6". The bow pulpit puts it over 21'.
