I fished Indian River inlet today on the incoming. I caught three stripers all between 27" and 27-3/4". I thought I had a huge one on the last drift but I had snagged him right at the top of his dorsal fin. I thought I was snagged several times or the fish had wrapped up on something. Pulling a fish up from his back instead of his mouth triples the feel and the fight. Bait was white bucktails with a limetreuse assasin fished spec-rig style. I sure miss that slot fish....they are so much better eating too at that size.

That's the way it goes. When the slot was here all the fish you caught were 23-3/4". When the limit was 36", all the fish you caught were 35-3/4". That's the law of nature... ;)
