Getting my enclosure completely redone on my North Coast 24 and was told 30 mill is what's most commonly use. Any one have any comments, suggestions or recommendations regarding material types, brands and thickness of enclosure glass? The work is scheduled for Friday. Thanks!

Go for the 40 mil

If you can afford the extra money, the 40 mil is a much better choice. Clearer than the 30 and longer lasting.

http://canvasdealer.com/ Look at this site and see how cheap the materials are,the 30mil isn't really that much cheaper then 40mil just a few bucks less,the 30mil might be better for a roll up door in the cold,but I don't really know thats the only reason I could think of to use 30 and not 40,

Go for 40 pressed glass on any encolsure that will normally stay in place. you will be glad you did.
