How To Post Pictures
First you must upload your digital image to a web server. You can not link to pictures on your computers hard drive. We recommend using www.myfishpix.com. They offer a free photo hosting service where you can upload and store your digital images. For those of you who are beginners or not quite sure about posting pictures...MFP(MyFishPix) makes things easy for you! Everything you will need to know about uploading your images onto their server, to making your images appear on the BARN are spelled out in detail on their "FAQ" page. Here's a link~ http://myfishpix.com/gallery/faq.htm Take a peak and see for yourself how easy it is! In the event you choose not to use MFP (MyFishPix), use these instructions for posting your pictures~ 1) Upload your image to a web server 2) After uploading, display your image, then right click on it and select "properties". 3) Highlight the address (URL)listed on the "Address" line. For example~ http://yourimage.jpg). 4) After highlighting the URL, right click your mouse on the highlighted text and select "copy". 5) Now that you've copied the address (URL) of your digital image, it's time to go back to the BARN and insert it into your post. 6) When you post a new topic or reply you will see a button that reads "IMAGE". Click on the "IMAGE" button. You will notice it entered [ img ][ /img ] into your text block. Simply right click between the two "IMG" tags and select "Paste" from the list. You should now see this [ img ]http://www.justanexample.com/yourimage.jpg [ /img ] That's all there is to adding an image to your post.
