My grandson & I where trolling along banks for bass, when we crossed mouth of bass river he thought he got hit by large bass. After 20 min. we got it to the boat,it was a 38" bluefish.
The water was almost completly freshwater from all of the rain.Weigh in at Chestnut Neck by Bruce & Mary Ann.

I caught a 37 inch blue at Graveling point a few years ago. It put up one heck of a fight.

I fish the top of the tide to about 1/2 way down and it generaly produces bass,it seems when it is windy against the banks the larger fish tend to bite.Early mornig & evening are best times, but I have caught schoolies during daytime.
This week should be good, full moon & crab shed !!!
