Once the fog burned off it was a beautiful day in the upper bay. Went out of Baypoint. Tried out by the channel (general area of 34). Marked a lot of fish at about 15-18 feet. A couple of bumps, no runoffs, no takers. We were in about 21 feet of water. Moved inside and did not mark as many fish even though they were now near the bottom. Tried around 6 Buoy (where it should be) and nothing.

Enjoyed the shakedown cruise, boat ran great and is now in her summer home at Baypoint!:D

same for me. I fished just inside bug light today had a ton of marks but couldn't get fish to cooperate. Had one BIG dorsal fin show up chasing a live bunker with no weight but he decided today was not the day. Judging from swirl and size of fin I would guess the fish was 48+ inches!! Oh well, the seas were flat and the beer was cold!! Did talk to Partnership today and it seemed he was having the same luck I was at that point, hopefully it turned on for him. I had enough and decided to call it a day.
Here's what I was looking at all morning!!!!
