We headed out today with Frank, Karen, Mike, and Leon. We had flat seas all day and some great weather too. The sun even came out for us in the afternoon. On top of all the nice weather, we had a steady bite for most of the trip! Plenty of double and triple hook ups for my crew. We ended up boating 82 stripers today!! We had a couple of close ones, but we couldn't stretch one for the box:confused: .

We still have some upcoming openings:

9th ( 4 spots)
14th ( 1 spot)
17th ( 3 spots)
22nd ( 3 spots)
28th ( 3 spots)
29th ( 2 spots)

Just give us a call, the keepers will be biting very soon!

Is this normal in the spring to have THIS many shorts around? I have only seen and heard of a handful of keepers so far. I realize it's early, but I don't remember this amount of near-keepers in years past with nary a keeper on these trips.
