You don't know the half of it. He actually naps while fishing now. He brings someone else along to monitor the rods in the water, and then he goes down in his cabin with his blanket and pillow and takes a nap!

Then when you call him out on it he says he wasn't feeling good. Yeah, like we believe that. :razz:

is there even room at the point anymore? i used to fish there in the early 90's, shep ran a segment and then the fisherman ran an article. after that, you had to go there in the dark to get a halfway decent spot. your cat looks like a bobcat.

You have to have sharp elbows. I did not fish the point last year for the first time in years. It is the same people every year. Once you get to know them it is alot of fun.

if you go the point and its crowded your fishing the wrong, and probably mostly unproductive, days. The days the bite is on there is plenty of room. And it is the same core group of die hards every year.

Things are getting so bad I'm starting to look at the Cichlids in my fish tank and thinking that ones got to be 3/4 of a pound. Maybe if I got small hook and a little pole !!!!

The official (http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/dsdt/cwtg/catl.html) water temp off A/C is just a hair under 40 degrees. If we can get lucky and have a warm February things will hopefully get cranked up early this year.
