Left the dock at noon and we were back by 3 though it turns out that the palm beach hours did not work out so well for us today. Covered some ground but in the end it was a single knockdown all day. We were going to run down the beach but with only 50 gallons on the boat we called an audible. Tomorrow's another day.

Hang in there James. Seems like you hit a rough patch with the boat issues, treble, etc. Your a pro, its just a matter of time before things turn around.

I was a little later than you James. I was out at 3 and back to the dock around 7. TONS of bunker in Sandy Hook Bay and all around the tip of the hook. We live lined for about two hours with only a blue to show for it. Tried trolling around the tip and Flynn's Knoll... nothing... went back by the west side of the ammo pier.. nothing... I tend to be able to get out when the fish arent hitting. Good to hear I wasnt the only one.... One of these days I'll be out during one of "those" days when they are hitting like crazy.
