Jap feathers, 6"Zukers or Tuna Clones any color is ok as long as it's purple. Also some Clark spoons and cedar plugs. If you like a couple of green machine/bird rigs.

YEA EVERYTHING THAT CARNIVORE SAID --- I like to add something with a jet head following a bird.

Jigs --- I was turned onto the butterfly Shimanos.

Cedar plugs with squid tubes over the are deadly. I liked the 6" and 9" tubes with a cedar plug inside, it makes that squid look like its dancing on the water. I also rigged 3 or 4 squid with a small float stuffed in them and the last squid had a small cedar plug in it. The one's in front followed a nice line and the last one looked like it had ADD.

a few of my favorites: 4 lure Zukers feather chain, one in red/white and one rainbow. Mini green machine spreader bar, 11 minis and 1 fullsize with a hook (HEAVY sucker, run it off a 50 in close). also like a dolphin pattern cedar plug. for ballyhoo, islander jrs with small hoos and Zukers grass lures with larger hoos and chin weights.

Skirted and neked ballyhoo have been the ticket for tuna trolling the last few years... I would start there. Ilanders, sea witches, or other skirts in a variety of colors, as well as pin rigs (if your not familiar with rigging ballyhoo). An entire spread of of this will work well for you 9 times out of 10. Very good for mahi as well.

You should also consider both the Resor and the Fingers (as well as Little Italy) IMO, they are usally much better fisheries for the desired species.

I run that and further (AP and the claw) in a 23' SeaCraft.

Good luck & I will be happy to buddy uyp.

-6" squid Daisy Chains. Various colors. Landed a nice Bluefin at the AP on a blue white chain I made myself.

-When the albies are around at the Ridge, the Clark Spoons are a no brainer.

-Bird down the middle with a jet or green machine behind it.

-Keep a rod setup with just a plain undressed hook or small bucktail for when you're around "da pots" for mahi. Throw a chunk of butter or sardine or bally on there and let it drift. Troll around them aswell.

Ditto. I caught more small insore tuna on rainbow spreader bars than everything else combined I think.
