Left Bree Zee Lee at 8:00am in search of some back water fluke. On board was Johnny DeLise,Spalding Leadbottom and Big John (a good friend and registered Lurker). We started in Capemay harbor. Where we picked up 2 blues 3 short flounders and 1 skate. Made a move further back towards Shawcrest
and picked up a couple more shorts during the out going tide. Made a couple more moves in the area.
picked up four keepers at the turn of the tide. 20",19" & 2 16-1/2"flatties. wind startedto pick up. so,we decided to call it a day.Headed back to the barn about 3:00pm. color of the day seemed to be plain hook with minnow. water temp 68 deg.

Donny, Glad we went in the back as the boats fishing the Cape May Reef didn't do any better. First time fishing for Flatties and they sure tasted good. We saved on gas and running time and caught fish. Going fishing Monday and will be in the backwaters again as the fishing is as good there as anywhere right now, thanks for the fun day on the Reeney M, and see you soon. Johnny
