Spring is almost here and everyone's starting to think Stripers. The LBI Cup is right around the corner!

This is Long Beach Island's premier Spring Striped Bass Fishing Tournament. Weigh in stations in both Beach Haven and Barnegat Light make this unique tournament convenient for anglers fishing North or South ends of LBI. This Tournament is a "Two Heaviest Fish" format. There is also a prize for the single heaviest fish.

This year will offer more exciting calcuttas, winner-take alls, and a "Bluefish Blitz" calcutta.

I am quite sure it is an Igfa rules tournament, no wire line, umbrellas, or trebles on live bait "snag and drop", but I am not 100% sure

Excellent Tournament....last years was run exeptionally well with over 50 boats and expect more of the same this year....hope those big bass around last Memorial Day Weekend are hungry again!!!

hey brendan, you do not need 2 fish to qualify for all calcuttas.
Calcuttas will be awarded following this event to the boat with total heaviest weight up to 2 fish.

Just make sure your entry is postmarked by April 30th, and Luddy will accept that as an early entry

OR if you can get in the Club, drop your entry form and check into the member's box on the wall which has the slit in front for 'calcuttas'
