Once again Loosedrag invited me on a fluking expedition. We headed out of belmar and found a nice spot where some big fluke were holding. We continued to hit this area for most of the day and ended up with 35 fluke up the 5.5 lbs.......

Herring Strips were the bait of choice on bucktails and on bait rigs..........

We kept 8 total with 5 fish ranging from 3-5.5 lbs. We also lost a couple keepers at the side of the boat.

The highlight of the day was in the afternoon when I was reeling my Chartruse bucktail in and something nailed it. I tought is was a blue at first but it was ripping drag and the speed of it was not right. After the third time getting it to the side of the boat I finally noticed that is wasn't a blue but rather a bonita.

It was awesome........

It weighed 8 pounds.

I will post a pic later
