Posting this picture for a buddy of mine, It's Gittin Deep. Here's a Drum caught in Tuckerton. I'll let Louie write the story. Way to go Louie, awesome fish! Thanks for sharing. I will set the boat in once I am done with the captains course.

Damn!
Louie did you tell HookinUp the deal??? I thought we had everyone fooled.
This was moved by the forum moderator. Guess this isn't supposed to be in the offshore forum. Sorry for the mispost. I hurried the post as I was anxious to get Louies' fish posted.

There is no secret to Great Bay, just get a bushel of clams look at a chart and get on a good edge . You'll catch fish. There have been good numbers of puppy to medium drum besides the big guys.

The Bluefish invasion is eminant and you may not even be able to keep the clams out long enough to catch much else, but they are fun on poppers.

I'm always ready to get more specific at the store stop by for your bait and I'll give you some pointers.

Here's a great reason to stop by this weekend and all next week.

Looks like the hook is holding both the fish and helping a tired firsherman keep his balance ;)

Lou,
If you keep tellin everyone your catchin these fish up this way, it will turn out like the Cape May Rips in the fall with people being able to walk from boat to boat without getting wet! :(

marjon, no trick photo if you look where my hand is it says mats, this picture was taken in the carwash because it was late at night and there was good lighting, and a place to hang the fish.hooking up i am already aware of that i cannot fish out there in daylight in my boat anymore.snuck out in my 12 footer last 2 times.just look what happened to the bass in the white water there was 2 of us who use to anchor up and fish while the other boats trolled now you cannot even get a spot out there.there was a reason the fish was made public which i cannot talk about on here.i have the feeling i know you?louis

Hey bear 13,Ive only caught one drum that was about 15pounds and was just wondering how a fish like that fights. Does it take long runs like a big bass? Or does it go down deep? How long did it take to boat? Congrats on the catch, awesome fish.
