UPDATE******

The bridge broke again last weekend...6/6-6/7.

Bridge maintenance will be performed on the Stone Harbor Boulevard Bridge (CR 657) over Great Channel, New Jersey Intracoastal Waterway, mile 102.0, between Stone Harbor and Nummy Island, NJ, from June 8, 2020, through June 25, 2020. To facilitate bridge work, the bridge will be maintained in the closed-to-navigation position from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from June 8, 2020, through June 25, 2020. Vessels able to pass through the bridge in the closed position may do so at any time. The bridge will be able to open for emergencies, if at least one hour notice is given. At all other times, the drawbridge will operate in accordance with the operating regulations set out in Title 33 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117.720. Mariners should use caution when transiting the area. Chart 12316 (5th District LNM Week 24/2020)

They couldn't work on it when it was closed due to Corna-19 staff shortage????? Call the County at 609-465-7806

When are they just going give up on the bridge and completely replace the draw. That thing was breaking down when i was a kid in the 60's shooting the wood pilings in the 13ft whaler.
