I was a barner back in its infancy. I was, however, not able to understand
or accept the policy on spot burning. Thanks to many long and heated discussions from friends that are barners I have since changed my thoughts on said policy and understand the ramifications. My screen name was "wild bill" and if I angered or alienated anybody I do sincerely
apologize and hope we can move on. I have been fishing for more than 50 years and wish to stay involved in our sport or livelyhood.

First off, anyone who takes this site or themselves that seriously should never log in. It is all just talk, everyone is the best fisherman and boater, everyone has the best ideas, techniques, and as far as secret spots go that is total crap. The species we target are constantly on the move so that hot spot on monday is not always the spot tuesday. With that being said i am sure I will get blasted, the good news is who cares, I log in to pick up a point or 2, read a report if one exists and for the most part get up to date on the latest gossip. Its facebook for straight men.

Longdrive: had a flashback about the
time I saved your life at the drawbridge
when you got stuck up to your a** in
the mud, funny stuff.
Bill - not sure if it was quite life threatening, but no doubt if you weren't with me I would of been pulling the legs out of the waders and dunking into some pretty frigid water. I was definitely sucked down into that mud! Perhaps the worst part is I think you caught more fish than me! Good thing you didn't mention what drawbridge, or we might have to ban you from this site again - this time for life! :D

Welcome back - I think you, me, and Johnny need to pull a trip together in April for old time's sake!
