Well i must say the show seems to get smaller and smaller each year. I think the biggest boat they had aside from the geico race boat was a 32 cc... No viking or cabo, not any bigger sportfishers at all really. Sokme good deals on the t-shirts tho.

Not impressed with the show this year, but then again, I'm not surprised. Times are tough, and it cost's money to do those shows.

Pray every day for this thing to turn around.....

The show is catering to what the they believe the market will bear. Luhrs had the only large sportfisher there, boston whaler had a real nice 34 express, so did edgewater. the 34ss by regulator was just awesome. Some real nice cc from 22 and up. robalo had the nicest boats i thought. Hardly any vendors though. half the back of the center was empty. Hope they make it through the weekend. We did see the weather channel guys on the way out, Scott Williams was on the Sheraton hill. buddy Davis had a real nice 34 cc custom

Couldn't get down today or tomorrow, the dang snow forecast kept me up here in NEPA......Didn't they have any there, or just didn't like the pricing? A friend of mine got some pricing on the 218 and 238DLV....not fantastic, but not bad...

I really liked the Yellow Fin with the trip 350'S as you first came in. That 34 Regulator looks like a bad *** fishing machine, I liked the transom door but I don't really understand the console on the starboard side of the CC? It's a giant boat with lots of storage, so why take away the 360 degrees of fish ability??

I got to meet some other barners, and barn sponsors so that was great. All in all compared to the shows 2 or 3 years ago this year's show really sucked.

my VOC teacher told me in advance it was gunna be like 1/3 of the size. that yellow fin with the 350's was awesome. overall, not really impressed with the show. but it was free for me, so ehh cant complain. twiggy was fun to watch for all of 2 seconds....the owner was a nut case.

i totally agree about the 34 regulator... makes no sense to close off the walkability of the console like that.
Really liked the Yellowfins... seemed like the only boat at the show that wasnt built to please the girls with prettied up Foward seating Etc.... had great room to fish in the front and was diggin that coffin box with lift up storage underneath.

AC Boat Show

I was down there late Friday to stay over for Sat...Sat cancelled. I like the seminars. Stayed over again Sat night. All Sat's seminars (RFA give aways etc) were cancelled and not rescheduled. 1st speaker on Sunday...no-show. Didn't stick around much after that. Didn't see any deals. Just renewed NJ Angler and The Fisherman subscripts and got out of Dodge. Highlight of show was that damned waterskiing squirel.

Not worth the effort of 2 nights in AC casino. Luckily I broke about even....except with the wife who was back home for the snowstorm.

Hell....I had 3 free tickets sitting in my Jeep, I only live 8 miles away, but because of this friggin blizzard, and the fact that I'm employed in the rescue services I never got the time off to go see it. The closest I got to seeing any of this years show was today while passing the A.C. Convention Center I saw the vendors pulling their boats out and hauling them away......
