Since I sold my Scarab Sport, I've been looking for a new rig. Must have Twin power & prefer the CC layout.

I found a beautiful 1996 31' Fountain Tournament Edition, has 2008 Twin Merc 250s (300 hours) under warranty till 2013(Very Important to me). The thing I really dig about this boat is the folding tower with full controls on top. It is not a step deck, which I was told makes for less pounding. Plus the price seems right.

I'd really be interested in hearing from Fountain CC owners or previous owners about their experiences.

Is fountain still in bussiness .I lived across the the river from their factory in nc . I thought my family told me they shut down ,I could be wrong .

I have heard nothing but good things about them. I was on one once and they are rockets. but they are rollers in the rough due to there deep v.

I fish on a friends 25' - 250 Merc - Fast DRY boat - rolls if your drifting drifting outside, but not too awfully bad - we've had to scoot in because of declining weather a couple times through building seas, and like I said earlier, fast and dry !!! Plenty of storage - rocket launchers, live well - we all LOVE it !!!
