This is the time of year I start to get excited for my first attempts at weakfish. Anything going on at Cape May Point?

Supa, it's been my observation that weakfish begin to actively feed when the water temps reach 58 - 60.

I had 53 in the upper bay on Tuesday

News journal thursday fishin report said 1st weakies on hook+line caught at broadkill this week.

I had caught them in the lower 50's at some early season spots. But I always rush the early season weakfishing
