I have a buddy in Beach Haven West that is looking to have a boat lift installed for a 25 foot boat. He is trying to decide between a Hi tide & IMM boat lift. Anybody know anything about either, pros or cons? Thanks for your input.

Yeah, make sure it's legal to put one in where you are at....

I have a house in Beach Haven West and have seem many, many, many lifts in the lagoons. I'm assuming that they are legal.

I've seen them both, yet I think I like the HiTide appear to be built better.

Good Luck!

Like most anything else, adding a boat lift usually requires a permit, which I'm sure is what Dunk was refering too. Your installer should be able to tell you the "what and where" is allowable for your needs, and also take care of the permitting.

My boat is in OC, MD area, and I absolutely love having a lift at my dock. Actually thinking about getting a smaller one installed for a second, smaller boat.
