Does anybody know the length and width of a Tracker Pro 165? It doesn't look like it is made anymore, so I am having trouble finding info on it. Thx.

48" sounds about right for the inside floor and that boat is very stable. I just sold my 98 PT 165 and I have had that boat from the Northeast River up to Candlewood in CT. You will enjoy it if you are trying to pick one up. :thumbsup:

I want to use the boat mainly in lakes but would also like to crab and catfish from it in the rivers, is it stable enough? I have a 1448 now and dont see it being that much different.?

I think its more like 52" for the bottom width. And its more stable than a 1448 john boat.

These boats seem to have really high decks, is that an issue in rougher waters for any of you who own them? If the bottom width of the boat is close to 52, that makes me want one more.

You may want to look at a Lowe Roughneck R1655SC. It's 16.5 ft long with a 79" beam and 55" bottom width. It is an all aluminum welded boat which looks very nice overall. I'm in the process of comparing that + what it would cost to outfit vs a tracker.

The roughneck 1655 is the boat that I want, but haven't seen any used and the new ones haven't come in yet. I figured the lowe would cost about 2,000 more outfitted similiar.?

I have fished the northeast river, the delware river, & the hudson river w/ the pt 165. Plenty stable
