Has anyone ever tried chicken livers in salt water? I have used it for catfish in the delaware river with exellent success. I've also caught tons of small stripers on it. Any one ever tried it in salt? just wondering.

Well, should ya be able to keep it on the hook, can't see why not. Would rather put em in gravy & eat myself though. As to your "catching", just how did you go about keeping it on the hook? Just wondering.

For sure but no structial tissue there, would lean more twds the GIZZARDS myself (should ya be chicken organ oriented), ever try ta bite through that sinue? A striped bass is an oppertunist & shall eat whatever IMHO. It's just the days that it has a "certain menu" in mind that stumps us all

Hence "all" the plug virations. ....try the gizzards, as ya can wing em far!

If ya wrap the liver in a small pice of cheese cloth or a pice of nylon from a stocking. the bait holds to the hook very well....

This is probably your best bet to keep that stuff on the hook
