Was just looking on the ASA website and I see that the ASA was sold to Reggie Fountain. Here is the article.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It?s official. Reggie Fountain has purchased the American Striper Association. It has taken a little more time than expected to work out management assignments and direction. "Reggie has the determination and resources to take the ASA to a new and exciting level," said SKA managing partner Jack Holmes. We will continue to lend our expertise to the ASA for as long as necessary. Reggie will now link other boat manufacturers and motor companies to join him in making this the best trail in the country. Over the next two weeks many new and exciting programs will be announced. The schedule, which is now being finalized, will be as follows:
April 28th - 30th. Cape May, New Jersey
May 5th - 7th Boater?s World ... Annapolis. Teams will be able to fish this event, the rod and reel event, and the MSSA, without penalty.
May 19th - 21st Sandy Hook
June 2nd - 4th Snug Harbor
June 16th - 17th Sandy Hook
September - One event in Connecticut
October - two events on Long Island
November - two events in New Jersey
December - two events in Virginia
All events will have a mandatory check out and you will be able to weigh one fish per day.
