Taking a mini-vacation to Assateague Island this coming weekend. I've read a couple of flounder reports from the area and it doesn't look too bad.
I was hoping my friends here on the barn could help with some fishing advice for this area.
I will be launching from Tom's Cove looking to do some fishing and crabbing.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey Mb I just got back from down there I can't be real helpful with the fishing[my reults were poor].But if you like spiced crabs,oysters,shrimp,.....and cold beer with open air on the water atmosphere[heaven to me]you have to check out Captain Fish's resteraunt.It's not much to look at by any mean but the view,food and rustic atmosphere I thought was Great.good luck anyway.

I just got back from camping there. Can't help you with any spots for the boat cause I was surf fishing off I loop. The wind was pretty bad most days and weeds were everywhere so I didn't fish as much as I wanted to (barely at all). I heard some people were catching fluke and blues off minnows.
