It's mid May & the state has still not marked Double creek channel. Does anybody know what the heck the hold up is?

Their goal is to have the local channels marked by Memorial Day. They rotate the order each year, so I guess DC is at the bottom of the list.
I also heard their boat broke down and was laid up for a week.

It is a conspiercy in tuckerton.Here is what I think. The township or whoever is responsible for putting in the markers is paid by all the local towing companies to put the markers in as late as possible.That way they can bank a few bucks before the season gets going. I have been out about 15 times so far and not once did I not see at least 1 boat stuck in the mud. I think it is funny actually.It is entertaining while the fishing is slow.I spent quite a few hours in the mud my first few seasons but now I know where to go.Unfortunately the rental boats have no clue.

I heard the Barnegat problem was due to a mechanical problem with the buoy tender.It was reported to have almost sunk.
