Went on a friends boat for an afternoon trip in search of fluke. The slime was so bad that we gave up after about an hour. Double creek, the inlet and the BB and BI areas were full of slime. It was still nice to be on the water.

Look at all the perfect green lawns on all of the shore developments. All the fert applied runs downstream and into the waterways. The slime continues to grow......Just plain truth.

The homeowner only thinks of themselves.

The snot / slime grass is the worse I have seen in years. It has been bad for about three weeks now and I think has peaked. We should see some relief from it soon (I hope). You can some what avoid it if you fish the last of the in coming and a little of the out going.

Since the boys had the jetty covered for the NJ Angler I decided to take the yak out back in case the jetty was dead.

Found a beautiful spot - everything was perfect until I realized the snot was insane.

POP POP is correct - fertilizer runoff, detergent from washng clothes etc wreak havoc in shallow bays & estuaries.
