me and the rat did our first trip of the season today, started with a hot meal at the local choke and puke then off to the ramp, fished from 9:30 to 5:00 at 3-different locations including in front of the dod,i got skunked with only a few bites, the rat got a couple catties and one shorty linesider around 16"with a slightly bulging belly, water temps ranged from 45 deg.f to 48 deg.f,all in all it was a great day on the river, warming water temps and biting fish all good signs, can't wait for trip #2.
PS,besides being our first trip of -04- it was the first trip to the ramp ever for the rats shiny new tracker transporter.

Bill,
It was great to hear from you guys this morning. It was indeed a beautiful day to be on the water. Keep us updated as the season goes on. HAPPY DAYS.

Saw a nice fish caught near Salem in the river last week but nothing going on yet above the CB Bridge. Have not fished yet myself but talked to a few guys in the area and have only a channel cat for their efforts.
