Meet up with In-Depth
at the public ramp in Absecon. Went to broad creek fist, couple of weakies(nice fish). Slowed down,so we went to Craigs Blackfish spot. No sooner did my line hit the bottom, BAMM :D :D , Fist Tog was in the live well. Had a few more then, I'm fighting something  ? The largest Trigger Fish I've ever seen, 12inchs.Man what a fight ;) !! Ten mins. later a get a Blow Fish. We ended the day with about 15 Tog to 5 1/2 lbs. Kept only two. By the way Craig caught all :D but the first Tog, first time out for them, THEY ARE HARD TO GET   !!!! Had alot of fun. Haig

I didn't even realize that you could get blackfish on clam... Good to know (even though it appears to be a less desirable bait).

It was a fun day ! As has been the case for the last two months bottom fishing has been a hodge podge of fish and yesterday was no exception, and we added 2 species to the list with the trigger and tog now added to the kingfish ,sea bass ,blowfish, porgies, spot, flounder, weakies and croakers we have been catching regularly for a while now.

You guys should have seen Haigs eye's when he landed that first tog , I know he was thinking how easy this tog fishing is . Then ..... LOL
Don't sweat it Haig you'll have it under control in no time.

Here togie togie :D

Deep, thanks.Adam, you bet.Nightstrikes, thanks. Craig your right, I did think it was going to be easy, since buy the time my first bait hit the bottom, he jumped right on it. Boy was I wrong. Craig I have to admit, I did get a tog before,it was the same way, by accident & hard. I WILL figure out this Tog catching. Haig
