Hey fellas,
I was thinkin about going out with my buddies on monday. we're gonna be fishing from shore or a bridge, but what i wanna know is what are u guys catching blues with? Anything working especially well (plastics, lures, bucktails, spoons, bait, etc.)? Also is there any general areas in south jersey where the blues are really thick? I just wanna get out and catch some fish with my buddies before we graduate, thanks for the help guys. Have an awesome memorial day, Tight lines.

Mike,
For Big Blues I like to use the Big Smelly
Chunk Baits,,Cut Mackeral,Bunker and Mullet...
Off the Beach or even off some of the Inlet
Bridges.Last Year I Saw some 10lbers taken
Chunking off a Bridge this time of the year...
If you have schools of Snappers (1-3lbers) or
Taylors(4-6lbers) present Throw any type of
Soft Plastic on a JigHead it will work great..Just
Bring Plenty of Extra Tackle,Those Bad Boys
will Steal plenty of rigs...Another Great Lure
off The Bridges is a GotchaPlug for Bluefish..
In the Surf Go With Small Metal Spoons,Kastmasters
and Hopkins Lures and its alway good to use a
Steel Leader too protect these more expensive
lures from these toothy critters..

Good Luck Out There, Let Us Know How You Made
Out..

Thanks,,
