We watched them pull it off. First they tried a small TowBoatUS, then a larger TowBoatUS. Then they pulled in tandem. The lines broke at least once. I figured it would sink after they pulled it free thinking that the props and rudders must not of liked being dragged backwards through the sodbank but she floated and I guess they towed her away. She was gone within a few minutes of being pulled free. There was amazingly little damage to the sodbank. I hope it was the owner and not some friend at the helm. Not sure a friendship can weather that kind of screw-up. I got a picture of it but it's still in the camera.
