boaters course in PA?

I took the Powerboating course offered by the Coast Guard Aux. two years ago at Owen J Roberts High School. Not sure if there's a specific course for Jersey or not, but you may want to try to contact them and they'll surely give you some insight.

Take a look at the US Coast Guard Auxiliary's web site at nws.cgaux.org You want the 8-hour seminar course. You should be able to find a location that is close to you. I took the course in 1999 and it was very well done.
