Snuck out early on Saturday for a couple of hours before the string of graduation parties. Fished behind Strath/SIC. My boat is light enough that the wind gave me a nice drift. Caught 9 in 2 hours, only one 17" keeper. 7 of the throwbacks were 16.25". Give them a couple of weeks and they will be on the grill. Fish were agressive on my bucktail/herring. Left shortly after the FLEET arrived. Home by 9:45. Great morning and a great start to any day!! Get'em Wet! Pig

Did some wrecks off the beach Sunday...unfortunately the weatherman was wrong yet again and the 1-3's were more like steady 3's with short period with some 4's mixed in....didnt hit the deeperwater wrecks like planned for the bigger bass, stayed inshore a bit and did a number on the smaller bass with about a dozen keepers and a number of blackfish up 10lbs mixed in...not a bad trip for having to revert to plan B...

Fished the last two and a half hours of incoming tide behind the south end of OC. Four shorts was all that was to be had. Saw alot of birds chasing bait fish up on the sand near Corson's Inlet. It was a wild site as the bait fish had no where to go and were just being hammered by the birds. Planning to head out and try again early Wedseday morning.

Hey guys, we found the fluking behind Wildwood to be very good this weekend, but only in certain spots and only during certain tide stages. Basically, the edges of flats on the outgoing tide was the ticket. Most fish were in 5 to 7 feet of water. We had several dozen fish, about half keepers, biggest about 3 pounds, in a few hours of fishing when the tide was right, but when we returned on the incoming the fishing was much slower. Tough, windy fishing conditions all weekend, even worse on Monday.

Fished for 2 hours of the outgoing tide behind Stone Harbor this morning. Landed 7 flounder, 2 keepers. Largest going 19". My daughter Brynn landed her first ever keeper flounder, and first fish truely on her own today! :D :D :D 16.75" on her Sponge Bob rod and reel combo with 6# test! (who knew the little thing would work?) Dad (me) and Grandpop could't have been more proud!!!
Squid and minnies did the trick. Caught 'em at various depths ranging from 3' to 22'. Water temp. was 71. It's getting better.

Ive been picking at them behind OC. Catch the numbers on minnows, the keepers on herring and bucktail.
All the usual places, 12 ft of water seems best, but caught some keepers shallower and deeper.

Anyone seen any sandsharks? My seven year old boy loves them, and I like them for bait. I believe that it would be ok with the spot police if you guys could devulge their whereabouts behind OC.

thrusday--32 shorts and 1 keeper a 5lb 4oz fluke
Bigger the bait smaller the fish, went to short strip of herring on bucktail and got the big one

Fished Rainbow in OC today, and the start of outgoing tide was mahem. Seven fish on first drift, and I lost a few. just couldn't switch rods fast enough! The bad news is they were all shorts. I did manage a nice 20"er on the next drift. Was a very fun day. Nice weather was a real plus......Spearing.

i also fished at rainbow channel, yesterday but missed the tide had to try any way got 6 short at the change of the low waterpretty good shack down run though the boat ran well and catch some fish what more could a guy ask for

was down with a friend on saturday was out going tied and man did we get into the flounder all over 19 inches had 5 throw backs at the end of the out going hung around for the switch and moved a little closer to the inlet and started my drift wind against the tide and bam another non stop flounder blitz this time mostly small ones maybe like 5 keepers total out of i would say 20 or more ended up with our limit and enjoyed the day tremendously. water was pretty clean the choice of bait was squid strips and minis along with spearing. had two rods i was useing and my bud who never in his life flounder fished had my other rod total of 3 and we killed them. seems to be picking up quite nicely. :D forgot to add our biggest one was 25 inces had mostly between 19 and 21 inches they seem to be growing nicely
