Not to sound as an alarmist. But much is going on that in the long run will hurt the fishing recreational community.

Long Beach Township is looking to stop buggy driving on the beaches of LBI. The first of 2 public meeting will be held at 4pm on April 4th I beleive at the Town Hall. The second meeting will be April 18th at 4pm. After that they vote. unless we are heard we will have to give up part of what we like to do.

And if those who walk do feel it affects them. Think again. The surfers are being force out now by messages tanken by the towns.

They will take the next step and ban us from fishing on the beach. If you think that won't hapen. it already has in several towns in New Jersey alone.

Remember the bridge down south.

If you cannot make the meeting at least e-mail the commintee. Google the LBT web site and go to contacts. All the commintee's email addresses are there.
