Is that officially a Barner sighting? While taking a lesurely sail up the ICW from the Cape to Stone Harbor, I got this phone call. It was right near that broken down bridge thing in Wildwood. Some loudmouth was on the other end asking....."is this the vessel Bawugna, do you think you can slow it down some.....You almost swamped my little skiff" The Loudmouth......just kidding bud, was InDepth in...you guessed it.....his little skiff! I went back and drifted with him a bit and he showed us the nice bucket of big keeper crabs he had captured right there in the flats. I let him have it with my new favorite toy.........my hailer, what an obnoxious child I am with that thing! He and I drifted and talked a bit, of course I was much more concerned than he was about water depth
and I had to reposition every so often to keep from going aground..........damned little flat boats, just go wherever they want with no regard for the depth. Well Craig went back to harassing the crab population and we headed north.
Later, Kim and I went to 2 mile landing so I could show her the restaurant and such and on the way out to the ICW, someone says "Hey Jim" Brain dead that I am I said "Hi and who are you?" He said "Spooled from the Barn" He and one of the youn-ins were out there trying for some fluke near the 50 cent bridge.........or is that the dollar bridge now? Thanks for the compliments on the boat.
This Barn thing is pretty cool!
